Charles Ramassamy is a Professor of pharmacology at the University INRS-Institute Armand Frappier in Canada. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Rouen in Rouen, France, and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Douglas Hospital Research Center, McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada. Dr. Ramassamy is a Chair Holder of the Louise & André Charron in Alzheimerès Disease and one of the leading experts in the role of oxidative stress in aging and in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative disorders (e.g., Alzheimerès Disease). He serves on various Grant Review Committees including Canadian Institute of Health Research and is Associated Editor of several international and peer-reviewed journals such as Current Alzheimer Research.
